What a nuisance. the recently purchased radio will shut itself off spontaneously without any movement of the instrument. Noticed others with the same problem.
I live in Las Vegas and the radio stations are not the greatest in strength. The ear piece that came with the radio was chintzy and I replaced it with a better set.
Buttons are not convenient. It's a light radio to carry.
I must start out by saying that I expected more. What I could pick up was fine.
If you want to leave it on one station and walk it will do fine. I also have to say that it's not a bad radio.
I wanted to pick up a weak station and I couldn't.
It comes equipped with a set of ear buds that are adequate for walking or other light exercise. This radio was listed as an HD radio but it is not. As a standard Am/FM pocket sized radio it performs well.
Go to [.].and try a pair they are great. Both are very happy and i have incorporated Yurbuds to the earbuds and this makes the sound better and the earbuds stay in the ear. I gave this to my parents who just wanted a radio they could walk with. The reviews were positive so I bought two.
Amazon lists a Sony AC Power Adapter as a suggested accompanying product. I was delighted to find that the DT-210 has the feature of a 90-minute auto cut-off, which is a feature on my old DT-200. There is no jack on the radio in which to plug an AC adaptor. Therefore, I assumed it would work with the Sangean DT-210 and ordered the adaptor. This was not, to my knowledge, mentioned in the 210 specifications text. I was not delighted to find it was battery operated only.
